Shelly is a lifelong community builder at heart. Her journey began in law offices, where she honed her attention to detail and diligence. Over the next 17 years, she dedicated herself to public service through parks and recreation, discovering the true power of bringing people together. Five years ago, she stepped into a new role as a Lifestyle Director for a vibrant Del Webb community—a natural fit for her passion for planning, people, and creating meaningful moments.

After facing profound personal loss in her 40s, Shelly found love and joy again with a wonderful partner. Together, they’ve built a beautifully blended family. Her adult son, who lives with muscular dystrophy, shares their home, as do their two mini bernedoodles—Finley and Bocelli, the latter a blind pup whose spirit has brought deep lessons in grace and connection. Becoming both a stepmother and a grandmother has been an unexpected and cherished gift. When she turned 60 last June, it marked a renewed sense of purpose and creativity.

Her journey into short-term rentals is a natural extension of everything she loves—welcoming others, celebrating life’s quiet comforts, and curating spaces where people (and pets) feel truly seen and cared for. These homes are not just pet-friendly—they are heart-friendly. Shelly understands the need for rest, beauty, and connection, and has designed each space to offer just that.
